Faye Da Maq

Kieran Anthony Rafe Young better known as Faye da Maq was born September 16, 1988 in Frankfurt Germany to Tony and Gwendolyn Young. He spent a few years there as a child before his family returned to the United States to make their home in northern Virginia.
Kieran began his education in Dale City, Virginia. Shortly after his family relocated a few miles south to Stafford where he attended Widewater Elementry. This is where he met and made several childhood friends who also lived in the same Stonebridge community as him. With those same friends he found his love for football playing around the neighborhood and later going on to play for Stafford Middle School and Brooke Point High School where he earned Defensive MVP his senior year.
After graduating in June 2006 Kieran rekindeled his love for music. He began using his lyrics as an outlet to tell his lifestory. He formed a local rap group in 2008 with his cousin Chilly Maq. They were known as One In The Chamb. With their slick lyrics and uncanny use of metaphors they quickley got noticed amongst other local rappers and were quickly considered a threat.
Faye later branched out to persue a solo carreer of his own. Joining his brother Aviance “Louie AV” Young ad others he help launch the entertainment company Real Money Gettaz, better known as RMG. From there RMG joined forces with the highly respected up and coming Renegade Records and in the summer of 2010 they began flooding internet newsfeeds, local clubs and venues and DMV blogs.
Now Faye da Maq is on FIRE! Collaberating with fellow RMG/Renegade Records artist such as Young Neek and Mic Doza on hits like “Club With Us” and “Make Um Bop” he has begun making a name for himself and stamping his place in DMV rap game history.
